Teyana Taylor uploads her Snap Back photo

Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert gave birth to a beautiful baby girl last week on December 17, 2015. 

The socialite uploaded a photo on Instagram of her stomach with the caption saying "Dear baby Iman, thank you for this snap back in 6 days. I love you my darling. #AintNoGymBih #Stillgotalongwaytogobutimgettingthere".

6 days is pretty fast, considering the flatness of her stomach. Tell us your secret Teyana!

Despite mistake, Steve Harvey is welcomed back to host next year

As we are all aware of by now, Steve Harvey made the biggest mistake in the universe (Pun Intended). He crowned the wrong beauty contestant as Miss Universe. Despite the error that was made, Steve apologized for the error and dealt with the consequences.

Many celebrities reasoned with Steve Harvey and posted images of the cue card saying how they can see how the mistake was made. 

Mark Shapiro, owner of WME said the host was very remorseful about the error and that Harvey was welcomed back to host the 2016 pageant in Belize.

Kim K set to release new mobile app

Kim Kardashian made an announcement today that she will be releasing her mobile app tomorrow titled "Kimoji." 

By the looks of the promo pic, Kimoji will have emoji symbols except the emojis will contain Kim's face. 

Kim mentioned that she doesn't want any family members in the app because they all would want a piece of it. 

As seen on the show Keeping up with the Kardashians, Scott attempted to negotiate a higher fee then what the sisters were being offered for Kim's game Hollywood. 

Did John Wall just give up 46k?

It was rumored that NBA guard John Wall spent over 46k in a gentlemen's club. The athlete cleared the rumor up quickly, while implying that he is not frivolous with his money.

Is Nicki Minaj Bad Luck?

We're starting to think that being associated with Nicki may be a cause for concern. The very successful female rapper has branded herself world wide, some even consider her to be the best female rapper in the game. 

By now, we all should be aware of the awkward relationship between she and rapper Meek Mill. They have been dating for a few months now and the two seem to be very happy with eachother. 

In despite of their happiness, Meek was found guilty of violating probation. More specifically, the violations consisted of submitting cold water for his urine test and breaking travel restrictions. The rapper's sentencing is set for February 2016. 

It was reported two weeks ago that Nicki posted $100k bail for her brother Jelani who was accused of raping a 12 year old girl.

We don't know what black cloud is over Nicki and her loved ones, but we pray it gets better.

Premiere Party: Growing up in HipHop

A reality show starring Angela Simmons, Romeo Miller, Damon Dash Jr, Kristina Debarge, Egypt Criss and TJ Mizekl is set to air on WEtv. Angela, Romeo and Master P are executive producers of the show.

The cast of the show all looked fabulous on the red carpet for the premier of the Hip Hop series. Many other celebrities attended as well. Check out the images below: 

The show is set to air Thursday, January 7 @ 10pm. We can expect a surprise cast member on the show, it is said to be 50 cents son Marquis. 

Rapper Fetty Wap has another baby on the way?

Fetty Wap appears to be in a whole heap of mess. Masika Kalysha, a reality star from Love & HipHop, is saying that Fetty Wap of the father of her unborn baby. 

Masika made the announcement on a radio station saying that she was 6 months pregnant. Fetty doesn't seem too happy about this. by the tweets of it, he sounds unsupportive of the whole situation. We hope it works out in everyone's favor. 

Meanwhile Alexis Skyy is sitting unbothered, as she shows off her "Zoovier" tat, which is short for Fetty Wap.

The Color Purple Musical on Broadway

Jennifer Hudson stunned many people across the world who came to New York City to see her performance in The Color Purple. The play produced by Oprah Winfrey drew the likes of celebrities such as Phylicia Rashad, Laverne Cox and Kate Mulgrew just to name a few. 

Jennifer Hudson took on the role as Shug Avery. Hudson mentioned that her biggest difficulty during the run was putting her own spin on the iconic role. 

The show which was held on Thursday at Bernard Jacobs theatre, received two standing ovations. The musical has been receiving outstanding reviews with fans saying that the musical was divine and amazing!

50 cent keeps his name clean

50 Cent makes it loud and clear, he's not here for the games. He mentions in this Facebook post that he has no affiliations with this man claiming to be his former manager.

Apparently this guy has been robbing trains since they were on dirt roads. 

50 then goes on to say that these two never made any money together, and the self proclaimed ex manager of 50 is only using his name for buzz. 50 cent mentions that he doesn't have a problem with BET despite what the guy is saying.

Ashanti added to Cast and Crew of Mothers Day

Our girl Ashanti is out here making moves! Ashanti revealed on the today show that she will be executive producing a film called Mother's Day starring Sharon Stone, Christina Ricci and Courtney Cox just to name a few. 

The plot consists of interwoven stories of what it is to be a mom seen through the lens of photographer Gray.

Mothers Day is an upcoming independent film co-directed by Paul duddrige and Nigel Levy. Filming began in July 2015 in Los Angeles California.

Official release date has not been confirmed yet. Congrats to Ashanti!

Tis the season for holiday concerts! New Yorks own Hot97 hosted a concert in Newark NJ. The concert was jammed packed with artists who performed such as: Busta Rhymes, Mary J Blige, Fetty Wap, Lil Kim, Lil Wayne, Diddy and many more.

Chris Brown and many other celebs perform at L.A. Power 106 annual Xmasconcert

CB performed at L.A Power 106's annual Christmas concert. The show was held at the Forum on Friday night where the entertainer performed hits such as: Strip, New Flame, Back to Sleep and many more. 

Many other artists performed such as Pharell, Wiz Khalifa, Ty dolla $ign, Dej Loaf and Kendrick Lamar. Check out some of the performances below.

Michael Jackson's Estate being sued

Deceased singer Michael Jackson's friends father is pursuing a lawsuit with Jackson's estate. Apparently Sharad Patel has been denied the opportunity to make a tribute film to Jackson under a contract his son had with the singer. 

Sharad Patel is saying that his son Raju Patel had a film company with Jackson called Neverland Entertainment and a 2002 contract provides that all proceeds from their films will be split 50-50.

In 2005 a contract was signed three months before Raju died of cancer, agreeing that Raju and Jackson would make a film titles Messages to Michael which would be a tribute to Michael and his loyal fans. 

In the six years since Jackdon died, Sharad has been trying to get access to Jackson's music and personal effects in order to make the film but has been shit down by estate executors John Branca and John McClain.

Bad News: Morgan Freeman's plane's almost crash

The Airplane that Morgan Freeman was on made an emergency landing in Mississippi due to troubles during takeoff.

"I was on my plane on the way to Texas to shoot a segment for The Story of God ... Sometimes things don't go as planned and a tire blew on take-off which causes other problems. But thanks to my excellent pilot Jimmy Hobson we landed safely without a scratch."

We are Happy that Freeman is safe despite of airplane difficulties. He is set to executive produce and host The Story of God where he will immerse himself in religious experiences and rituals across the globe. The series is set to air in 2016.

Bad News: Big Sean's house burglary

While Big Sean was on vacation in Dubai, his house was broken into. 

The burglars stole $150k in Jewelery and some of Big Sean's unpublished music. In cases like this it's usually an inside job. Someone who had been in his house before and was familiar with the layout of the house. 

We hope it works out in his favor. 

Congratulations! Kim and Kanye West

Kim made an announcement on her website that she and Kanye West had their baby boy! Apparently the couple couldnt think of a name, I'm sure by now they named the baby something.

Kim was set to be due during Christmas but the baby had other plans.

The Wiz Live Review

The Wiz aired last night on NBC live. For those of you who aren't familiar with The Wiz, it's a remake of the Wizard of Oz but here's the catch; it's with an all black cast. 

Some Twitter followers who tuned into the show took it as far to say that they thought having an all black cast was racist. Not realizing that the Wizard of Oz consisted of All whites. We are programmed to think that an all black anything is unusual in America, or blacks should feel shameful for the thought.

It's a shame that it had to turn into a race issue but it seems to be the direction people are taking it. People can't seem to look past color in this day and age and recognize talent for what it is.   

Let's focus on the positive:

Many celebrities shared their opinions of the show and most were very well expressed.

Overall the show was refreshing!

Teyana Taylor named Monica God Mommy

Teyana Taylor announced that Monica Brown will be the God Mother of her unborn baby.

The two couples were photo'd above at the House of Blues in Cleveland, where Teyana Taylor has been spending most of her time while supporting hubby Iman Shumpert.

You favorite fashion designer, Donatella Versace, decided to join the world of technology! She started an IG account today: @Donatella_Versace

This is exciting news because Versace is a house hold name. Maybe Donatella will give her followers the inside scoop, or give a promotional discount for her clothing line (Wishful thinking). 

Benny Boom set to Direct Tupac biopic?

While the Tupac Biopic has been on hold for many reasons, one of the biggest hold up seems to be finding a director to stick to the script. Carl Franklin was set to direct as recently as the summer, after John Singleton dropped out in April. 

"The people involved aren't really respectful of the legacy of Tupac," says Singleton on Instagram.

The film seemed to be headed in the write direction until Franklin left the project due to unnecessary disagreements. In late October, Producers Emmet/Furla files a $10 million lawsuit against Morgan Creek saying that the company breached a co-production agreement by selecting a lead actor and setting a budget and production schedule without approval. 

Tupac Shakur's mother Afeni was involved in a lawsuit as well. She was sued for the music rights to the film. 

Apparently, Morgan Creek is in the works of hiring Benny Boom to direct the film. Boom has directed two films in the past: Next day air and S.W.A.T. He has also made a big name for himself on the music scene, winning director of the year at the BET awards.
